Christmas Wish List
Knowing that some of you kind souls are planning to get me stuff for Christmas, I thought I would do the practical thing and state what I really want, what I don't mind having and what I don't want just to make your job easier. I hope this little experiment works. If it does, I will proceed to draw up this list annually. Here goes...
What I really want for Christmas
What I really want for Christmas
- Body scrub (refreshing flavours preferred, e.g. lemon, kiwi, citrus, the kind that will make you 'wake up' in the shower). I like the ones which don't make my skin feel oily after application.
- A straw bag big enough to hold an A4 size file/Today size newspaper/small book, small umbrella, water bottle, sweater/shawl. I've been searching for this FOREVER in Singapore and Bangkok, but haven't found the right one yet. Colour should be light straw; a 'basket' bag is good but it shouldn't be too heavy as it's meant to be my 'reading' bag containing reading material to peruse through on the move.
- A Laura Fygi CD. Any one, and it's better if most of the songs are not in English.
- Kimono like tops
What I don't mind for Christmas
- Body Shop's ylang ylang shower gel or any other fruity smelling shower gel (doesn't have to be from Body Shop) but don't get me the following because I already have it--cranberry, bergamot, candy citrus, moonflower.
- Accessories. After all, what's a goddazz without her bling? Those of you who know me should know what kind I like. Dangly earrings are always welcome, but not too heavy ones. Rustic looking necklaces (wood, string, twine, beads, crystal-like precious stones) rock too, the more unique the better, but not bizarre please! I do not want to look like a vine just grew on my neck!
- Food or food vouchers. When all else fails, you know this one will please anybody. I do not like fruit cake, Christmas pudding and mince pies though. Chocolates, cake (everything except banana), biscuits and cookies are perfect for my sweet tooth :) Heck, why not get me a hamper :P
- Funky tees (small or XS)
- Wraparound skirts (waist is 28 inch, yes I know you don't believe it but it's true)
- Cardigans (any colour except yellow, white, orange, grey and brown)
- Slippers (size 8)
- Handbags, including evening ones (but not too teeny weeny please!)
- Shawls (those that actually keep people warm as opposed to just being decorative are preferred)
- Jazz CDs
- Nail polish
- Shoe vouchers :) :) :) (Nine West, Pretty Fit, Novo, VNC)
- Clothes vouchers (Mango, Zara, Mphosis, Fond Hugs...)
- Bolster
What I do not want for Christmas
- Soft toys
- Candles
- Aromatherapy burners and aromatherapy oil
- Photo frames
- Cookbooks (too many at home)
- Books (also too many, need to find time to read those at home first); BUT if the book is very me, I will welcome it with open arms :)
- Handphone chains
- Moisturiser (too much at home)
- Hand cream (too much at home)
- Lip balm
- Key chains
So how, comprehensive enough? If in doubt, consult me! But try to do it tactfully such that I wouldn't have a clue what I'm gonna get from you. The worst thing would be that you lead me on and I think I'm going to get a fantastic gift, then I get a tissue packet holder or something :P
